Guild Wars 2

This must be a camera bug.
It happens all over the maps,including cities and underwater areas.
As I move my camera around,parts of the environment disappear.
This is not a new problem.At least on my system it’s been happening since game launch.
Some of the earlier camera fixes made the bug appear less frequently,but since the latest camera smoothing fixes,the bug is all over the place.
I attach a small video with an example of the problem.

I just checked the game.I haven’t played for a while because of this bug.
It is still the same bug so I’m not posting a new video.
I don’t see other posts about this so maybe it only happens on my system.
I got an Nvidia card.
I’ve tried all kinds of settings, in game and in my VGA.
I don’t use ambient occlusion.
Any ideas on what is causing this?

Have you updated your graphics drivers? I was having the same problem, but around the time of launch Nvidia released some beta drivers that fixed the problem. Make sure you do a clean install with the drivers.

My drivers are up to date.
The problem started being more intense after the camera smoothing fix
implemented some time ago.

Change the rendering from native to subsample or supersample (mind this will be a big drop in FPS for some)

I have the issue as well, subsample completely removes this issue.

I’ll try that now and see how it goes.

Tried both supersample and subsample.
They improve the situation,but the bug is still there.Just happens less frequently.
Supersample looks nice,but there is a big performance drop,and the native mode is already great,so it is not worth it.
Subsample looks like the game is faded out.Details quality drops a lot.
And again,it’s not like they fix the problem 100%.
I’d like to play the game in the native resolution of my screen without this bug.
Fix this please.

I’m interested to know if you are playing on the lowest graphics settings since i saw another issue about a jumping puzzle where the orbs you had to jump to didn’t show up for someone who was using the lowest settings but they showed up when he turned them up. He couldn’t do the puzzle without using the higher settings. This would be badly written code and may have affected other things like this issue.

I’m using max settings on everything,except on shadows(set to high).
Resolution is 1920×1200
I use Vsync @ 60 fps
I also use FXAA.
I don’t use A.O.
I’ve tried playing with the graphics settings,in game and in my card,different AA settings etc,but nothing worked.
The only setting that improves the situation is going for supersample or subsample.
Supersample is very heavy and subsample is very low quality.And they both don’t fix the problem.They just make it appear less frequently.
