As you can see in the screenshot the class icons don’t show up but are black. In addition the game crashes selecting the simple party UI in the menu during a pvp match. I have already sent a crash report about the crash.

Hmm, sorry to hear it didn’t work. Well, I don’t think it’s a common and widespread bug, it’s the first time I hear about it and I even haven’t experienced it so far. Or let’s wait to see how many show up with the same issue. Maybe if you prefer a more personalized assistance try to contact Support. I have the same issue with class icons – all black since the last patch.

Perhaps it is OS related – I run Win XP SP3. There was a bug earlier where on XP only the client would flicker in full screen and one could play only in windowed mode. Eventually it was fixed.

Happy to hear yours resolved itself, not so for me.

It’s really annoying especially since I can’t tell which teammate needs help in spvp. I see party member’s health bar dropping, but can’t see their class icon, so I don’t know where I need to be on the minimap to assist.

actually i noticed that they work in ranked matches but not in practice matches

Apparently not working for Go4GW EU Tourney Shoutcast either.

Works in Stronghold (unranked) for me. Hotjoin doesn’t work still.

As of today icons have been restored. Huzzah anet!
