Guild Wars 2

For the last few weeks I have been experiencing an extremely annoying bug. Details are as follows:

• Longer than average load times, only sometimes.
• UI taking a few seconds to fully load, only sometimes. For example opening my inventory I will only see a few items, other slots may be blank. It may also be the case that I press Esc ankitten ot be able to see the complete menu and only a few options will be visible. Basicly anything to do with this part of the UI can fail to display correctly, but only for a short amount of time; not indefinitely.
• Sound not playing or playing a few seconds after animation. For example, casting Ride The Lightning may cause my avatar to go invisible, or he may STAY visible but still be surrounded by the RTL lightning. Sound will not play. Usually this is accompanied by the aforementioned UI bug in that I might not be able to see some/all of my skills.
• Periodic fps drop. I average around 45 to 55 but it will instantly drop down to 10-20 for around 5-10 seconds then instantly go back to ‘normal’ or whatever it was before. This is extremely frustrating in WvW as I am absolutely useless during this time, and also a sitting duck.

All of this can happen at random times or it can all happening at one time (usually when I log in, usually into LA).

This problem has only been happening, for me, for the last few weeks. It is severely affecting the performance of the game, as well as my own personal performance within the game, which is frustrating and at times embarrassing. I do not pay money into the Gemstore for this and would like advice, at least.

I do not know if it is strictly GW2 related or a wider issue with my computer, as sometimes my Firefox windows will lag causing a ‘not responding’ situation for an indeterminate amount of time.
