Guild Wars 2

So I returned to the game recently and have been leveling up a character to 80 so I can see the Season 2 and Heart of Thorns content. However, it looks like my character’s personal story bugged out on me.

I chose “Make another suffer” when speaking to the Pale Tree during A Light in Darkness, but ended up in the “Dishonor Allies” storyline and received the Shell Shock and Volcanic Extraction quests.

I didn’t actually know this wasn’t supposed to happen until I did the Battle of Fort Trinity and had npcs comment on how I stole a magic blue orb from the Krait and heard my character remark that she left someone named Apatia behind with the Krait. However, at the end of the Battle of Fort Trinity quest Traherne commented that we needed to go find Syska next — the character from the “Dishonor Allies” storyline.

But the next mission I received was Liberating Apatia. . .
