I shall be brief.
I was invited into a party by a random user for the ‘Forming the Pact’ personal story mission, level 70 to the Royal Tombs of Orr. Everything went well and upon completion I continued the storyas usual. When I had completed all the pre-Arah missions the game then sent me back to do the mission I had done with the random user (Tombs of Orr lvl 70) and the following, final, level 70 mission to the Cathedral of Grenth.

When I redid those missions it then automatically took me to the Arah mission so I thought nothing of it.

However now, in my ‘story journal’ tab of the hero screen, my personal story progress has stopped on the level 70 story and is only displaying one of the numerous missions I completed at level 70. (Please see attached)

I appreciate that this is a minor bug and most people wouldn’t care that the journal hasn’t updated because I received every reward without issue. However it is a bug nonetheless and it really irks my completionist nature.

I hope this has been useful and has not been mentioned before and if I can be of any further assistance please let me know

I have the same issue although I did not help anyone else out with their personal story.

My log is identical to the op.

The first paragraph of Step 7 is there but nothing else.

I finished my personal story about 6 months ago give or take a week.

I should not have had my journal affected in any way by the update yet it doesn’t show completion now.

I have a similar, if not the exact same issue as you. Although I was playing alone, my story is not working properly. I outlined my problem in another thread. One of my characters started from “Forging the Pact”, but was almost immediately sent to Arah, thus skipping large portions of Chapter 7 and Chapter 8. Her journal still shows her on Chapter 7 like your image does.

I hope this isn’t permanent…

I checked my Elementalist who was paused in her personal story at the “Report to FT Trinity” step.

She resumed and I completed the Worst Fear achievement with no difficulties but the story journal did not update and the story journal window lists the wrong step as the current one. It shows that I am in the final chapter which I am not. I am fully in the middle of the level 70 chapter.

It is allowing me to progress correctly so far but I am very concerned about how this will end.

I can’t figure out why the journal reverted on a completed personal story as well. (See my other post above.) This makes no sense.

I’m having the same problem. I cannot progress in my personal story beyond Forging The pact. Additionally, I am stuck on part 8 of Living Story Season 2. When I attempt to drop it, it automatically starts back up.
