I am trying to do my personal story on my Sylvari after the latest patch on 9th of September, 2014. I have tried to do this mission twice now with a friend and after killing all the destroyers, the mission still states there are destroyers and will not advance at all. I have checked the whole area and there are no hiding destroyers. As I stated before, i tried re-doing the mission but still it won’t advance.
Is this an issue caused by the patching?
When can we expect it to be fixed?

I have, I’ll give it another shot and then report back on if I’m still having this problem.

I regret to inform you that it is still not working. I have a whole team looking through the area and there is not hiding Destroyer. I still cannot progress in the story.

It tells me that I have to kill all the destroyers even after they are all killed, the large Veteran I believe, never shows up. This is the third time I’ve tried.

Well, it thinks that there are still Destroyer crabs there when there is not and it will not allow me to progress in the story.

My wife and I are currently experiencing the same issue with her personal story. We’ve killed all destroyers and the object still says to kill them. I’m having her submit a ticket but it’s not just Knil seeing this.

This part of the personal story is still bugged and will not progress past “Defeat the Destroyers”.
Please fix this soon.

So I did this quest with my girlfriend and the quest would bug out and not advance. This is why Jeffery Vaughn can not replicate the issue. But we both did the quest solo and it advance. So the quest is only bugged when two or more players enter the same instance. Hope that helps resolve your issue.

A friend and I were trying to do this story mission and did it about 4 times. I noticed three of the times that one of the eggs is exploding, but the crab is vanishing. (It looks like it’s going under the map, but I’m not sure). Anyways it’s in the last batch and it sitting on the little shelter area;

When we did the mission together we couldn’t complete it, we had to do it each separately to be able to continue.

I went back and did it by myself, that seemed to work so it only bugs in a group of 2 or more.

This issue is still occurring for me in party, i will attempt it solo

Playing this solo worked

I’m trying to finish this quest with my boyfriend but everytime we defeat the Destroyer Crablings and Crabs it doesn’t advance the story and I end up running around waiting for something to happen. I’ve talked to all the NPC’s and again nothing happens. I’ve tried playing solo but keep being defeated. I don’t know what to do? I’ve reported it as a bug.
