Guild Wars 2

I’ve tried to finish the quest The Hatchery for three times now. Every attempt follows the same pattern; I follow the objectives as they pop up, up until I’ve rescued three skritt treasure hunters, then nothing happens. The game gives me no indication what the next goal is and the quest just shows four finished objectives. I’ve walked through the whole instance and slained every mob, they just keep respawning endlessly.

Now, I’ve taken the liberty to check what is supposed to happen in this quest. After saving the skitts, I believe im supposed to lead them to somewhere, where I would face Destroyer Harpies. First time I tried this quest I had some of the skitts following me, but I believe not every one I saved. Still with the skitts following me, no matter what I did or where I led them, the quest didn’t do any progress. Im in the instance as Im writing this, doing my third try and not a single skitt is following me at this try.

Now, am I just beign silly and missing something, or am I unable to finish this quest for whatever reason?

Level 46 Sylvari.

I’m having similar issues. Playing as a lvl 47 human guardian with the vigil.

This is the point I get to, it seems that Vrackan doesn’t want to follow me in this instance where the other 2 will :/

My wife and I entered this instance of the personal story, both playing our Sylvari characters.
We both were at this part of our characters story line.
We rescued the skritt but the harpies never spawned.
We left the instance and started it over, they spawned the second time around.

Same here.
First 4 parts are marked as done, but when getting to the 5th part, speaking to that character gives nothing. He just says its not safe and that we gotta save everyone.
Went to next cave, nothing there. Cleaned out all monsters (some respawning) but
i cant get the quest to move on…. im stuck

I tried again and finally completed it. Just to be sure, I cleared the area of hostiles before reviving the first skritt. This time he actually followed me throughout the quest.

Finally completed on the 5th time!

you need to clear all mobs near the first and second skittes before you res them, if any of them are not following you around after u res them means the quest will not progress

This is really annoying. I’ve tried nearly 10 times. First and second skritt already followed me, but the third (Tchkik) just talking then the quest stop progress.

Exactly the same issue here. I retried 4 times, tried different orders as well as clearing the cave as much as I could before reviving anyone etc. But nothing has worked. I get the check mark for stage 2 complete, but no stage 3 pops up.
