Guild Wars 2

I am not sure just what is going on but after completing The Source of Orr, in chapter 8 of my personal story, I was tossed back to the beginning of chapter 7 which was completed but now it doesn’t show that it was. So I am a little confused as to weather it’s a bug, computer glitch or it’s suppose to do that. I tried clicking on chapter 8 to get it to open up and it won’t. Any ideals?

I’ve had the same problem on one of my characters since they re-adjusted the order of the personal story missions. It won’t let me advance at all, so my character is stuck being unable to finish Orr. It’s wonderful. :-(

Great. I hope they get it fixed so I can get on with the story line so I can kill that darn dragon and save the world. :-)

I think the bug comes from the game trying to force your character to do missions that were already completed. It won’t automatically advance the quest triggers, so the new set of missions won’t pop up at all.

Here is an update. My husband suggested that I go ahead and follow out the line of stories, in chapter 7 that I was given. So I followed where it lead. In total I had to redo one or two sub sections that were the same. Then there were a couple of sub sections that I had done but the sub sections had been changed slightly. But after I redid them it put me back to chapter 8 at Victory or Death. I hope this helps other.

It isn’t even giving me the option to do any repeated missions, my character is just stuck with no active story missions (aside from the Living Story ones).

Didn’t realize it just took you back to do some repeats, so you were a lot better off than some of the rest of us.
