"Personality" gone?
Good they were absolutely useless anyways.
It’s sad because that feature had so much potential for immersion if they just developed it…
Yeah, you still choose a personality type when you create a character and have the personality response options in Personal Story and such, but it’s otherwise removed from your hero panel. I think part of it is because the “angry” personality type (the one with the image of a fist) was called “Ferocity”. With the addition of the “Ferocity” stat, they were probably just trying to avoid confusion and (at least temporarily) took out the personality traits.
I think it has more to do with something they said not too long ago about how they will begin trimming out features they aren’t developing and are just taking up space….like the personality system.
In order for them to properly implement it they would have to add hundreds of lines of dialogue to each interaction to make it work fluidly and make it worth keeping in the game and they just don’t have the resources for something like that. So sadly, what could have been, most likely never will be
The thing is, it was used to give characters that ‘personality’. Although I knew it did essentially nothing, having those different types on different characters just added a little something to the game, and now it is one other little feature that appears to be forever lost.
