I looked around and couldn’t find any other posts on this, but I just made an Asura ranger a couple days ago, complete with a juvenile moa pet. Only today when I logged in – only my second time using her – I suddenly have a juvenile river drake? It’s level 4, and the only pet I have access to now, but I don’t know where it came from. I tried logging off/shutting down the game just in case but I still have the drake instead of my moa. Has anyone else experienced this, or know how I can get my birdie back?

Did you visit the Norn starting area? Or some other race’s starting area? You will have access to both pets as soon as the pet UI becomes available. You can also charm new pets.

I have the pet UI, but the drake is the only pet I have. I haven’t wandered too far outside the Asura starting area, as far as I know.

The Pet Panel UI unlocks at Level 5. I understood you to say you were Level 4.

No, sorry, the drake I have now is level 4. I’m level 8.

Not sure what you mean. Have you tried charming more pets? You can use the Wiki via the link above to find the location of Juvenile Pets.

No, I haven’t charmed any pets. I chose a moa when I made the character, and that’s the only pet I had, until I logged on today and had only a drake instead. I was hoping this was a known issue or someone else had a resolution, but if no one else has had this problem, I’ll contact support as you suggest. Thanks!

Yes, others have had the issue, but they could change pets to the original as soon as the Pet Panel became active at L5. Are you clicking on the picture of the drake to pull up the Pet Panel?
