Post-patch, phantasms and clones for a split second when spawning, use the default scholar character before turning into your own appearance. As a result, phantasms now become solid instead of translucent pink.
Pictures attached are:
1 – Phantasmal warden is spawned and for a brief moment, uses the default scholar character before switching to your appearance.
2 – Phantasmal warden apparently forgot to become translucent and remains solid, though she uses phantasm weapons.
3 – Three Phantasms out all solid. 
Who knows, maybe they might be more viable in WvW and PvP if players now cannot tell at first glance (unless you look at weapons) if they are phantasms, clones, or the player themself.
