Pheonix Light Armor - Clipping Issue
Moving the feathers to the other shoulder should be a relatively easy fix, assuming it doesn’t cause problems with other animations.
I noticed a lot of clipping on the legs on female characters in the idle stance animations when viewing the character from the front.

I noticed the same. I really love the skin, but clipping on the legs in the idle animation annoys me.

Annoying is the right word. I hope this will be fixed at some time. I’ve come to terms with some weapons clipping badly with some armor, it’s the price of having great varieties of basic shapes. But armor badly clipping with the body itself, in idle position no less, that really shouldn’t be happening.
Has Anet fixed armor with clipping in the past?

Some, but mainly Gem Store armors as some people put up real money to buy them. As these are Gem Store I should expect them to be fixed eventually but it might be several patches away yet if they do choose to fix it.

yea having the same issues. and moving the shoulder to the other side would seem to be a better fit. so notice the the feathers around the legs have some cliping issues also. would be nice if it flowed more smoothly
I’ve just seen this armor on a female sylvari. Not only was there no clipping at all in the hips/thigh area, but the chest piece and the leggings seemed to connect much better than on my female human.
Added a screenshot of my own for good measure. I marked 3 areas.
Top left area: odd lines separating chest piece from leggings.
Bottom left area: armor disappearing into thigh and hip, varying from just a little to huge pieces when cycling through the idle animation. The situation show in the picture isn’t the worst instance of it, the gap in the armor can get almost twice as big.
Right area: similar situation to what’s happening in the bottom left.
I really like this armor, but not like this.
I really hope this is getting fixed soon. Phoenix armor is amazing, but why, oh why does it go through my character’s legs? -_- Even 1 lvl white armor doesn’t have this issue.

Also the lvl 1 armor wasn’t sold separately for 10 Euros.
This seems fixed! I didn’t see a mentioned of it in the patch notes (maybe I missed it), so I was pleasantly surprised when I logged on.
Unfortunately for me, it is still clipping pretty badly on several of my characters.

Nope.
I believe Manasa Devi was referring to the legs clipping issue as being fixed, rather than the topic of the thread which is the shoulder piece clipping into the face.
However, my statement of still experiencing the clipping was actually in reference to both the leggings clipping and the shoulder feathers clipping issues.
So, for me, no changes seem to have yet been made to correct either of those issues. :\
As this thread is reporting the shoulder issue specifically, I suggest discussions on the leggings clipping issue be continued over here where the legging clipping issue is the topic of that thread.
