When you jump out of water, onto a sloped rock, for example, but slides back into the water because the slope is too steep, you will sink very deep back into the water, as if you weight a ton. It doesn’t make sense and can be annoying at times.

But if you just jump straight out of water, then falls back in, you don’t sink as deep, which makes much more sense, imo.

This has cracked me up -- and frustrated me, especially when heading to a vista or something -- since launch. It’s kind of comical how far you sink and how quickly when it happens, compared to "normal" entry into water (or even off cliffs).

A great place to experience this is the room where the Crucible of Eternity portal is.
