I really have no clue how this happened other then i see pink very often now

You need to run the -repair command, a texture file in your archive has become corrupted it, ( ever texture in the game that runs that same file will have this problem ) I get this from time to time, normally after an update, if you don’t run the repair command, it will eventually prompt you on startup that you need to run it,

This will fix the issue you are seeing.

One time i logged in and saw this.

I blame Moto.

It may take some time, as it checks, downloads and fixes any corrupted and missing files.
