Guild Wars 2

I can no longer right click and invite ppl to a party. infact the only option it gives me is to report them. Id rather not report my guild mates when im trying to invite them to a pt or join theirs.

Two cases:

1) You’re in World vs World, in which case this bug has been around since forever. Type “/invite PlayerName” or “/join PlayerName”.
2) You’re not in World vs World, in which case I have no clue.

its been happening all day, no matter were i was. Also when i left the jump puzzle in EB, it kicked me to LA which is the first time ive seen it do that

Also, if the bug has been around forever in WvW, why hasn’t it been fixed yet?

I haven’t been able to invite people to a party for about a week unless I add them as a friend first. Then, for some reason, the option shows up when I right click their name.
And I barely play WvW, so I know I wasn’t in there at the time.
Also, tons of bugs have been around since the start that they haven’t even commented on. Don’t know why. Guess they’re just more concerned about spewing tons of content no one expected or even really wants half the time instead of fixing major issues.

Just a heads up, I’ve experienced this problem from time to time outside of WvW. Not sure what causes it or fixes it, but resorting to /invite or /join would still work.

The whole point is to NOT to have to type out a players name 3 or 4 times to invite them

This happens to a lot of people (or everybody, I couldn’t tell). Half of the time, without any particular circumstance, right click only displays report option. No chance to invite/join party, forcing to use the party UI and manually type the player name.
This has been consistently reported for months, ignored this far. Not a big money loss in gemstore? Forget about fix.

why should i forget about the fix when its bugs like these that cause me to play less, and not want to try and get anything from the gem store

it needs to be fixed, these types of bugs are the things that really ruin the game for me. after all whats the point of playing whne you constantly have to content w/ bugs

after a little bit of having to content w/ them i just don’t feel like playing, and i become more stressed out after words than i was when i started playing, which is the opposite effect of what the game is supposed to do

So, plainly, by not fixing these issues, anet is simply biting themselves in their rear end

Little by little it adds up over time
money that could be spent to higher that extra developer or 2 they need to really be able to add more fun exciting stuff to the game
so, as time goes on, it only gets worse and worse, meaning their making less and less money than what they could be

why do the moderators or develpoers never reply to these threads?
is it cuz they just dont care?
