Same here. I’m locked out of LS season 2, which I had completely unlocked and finished including the respective achievements.

My hero panel and all skills/traits in it are grayed out. My collections have all been reset… I haven’t checked everything yet, but what I’ve seen so far is enough…

Reporting a bug: All my PvP reward tracks have been reset.

Edit: This appears to be only on the first character I logged into after the patch. All other characters everything shows up fine. The problem is persisting on my first character after re-logging though.

Like title say, all locked or rolled back on the 1st caracter we log in!

Yeah I have that bug too. Traits, pvp rewards, some achievements have all reset

lost my all trained skills,traits and ALL collections , living worlds, ETC !!. i hope they ll fix it immediately because i cannot change my build so i cannot jump to wvw and pve with my current build

My Traits are all intact

however, my training are reset and non-functioning

Many of my silverwastes & drytop achievements are gone, my luminescent armor collections are locked, my LS S2 is blocked and all achievements rested…

Further I can’t switch traitlines anymore.
Fix that rather now than tomorrow

Ohhh this one really scares me… also lost ALL collections

Oh well, would be nice if I could at least change my skills and abilities, but hey, all needs adding skill points again!

not true. I have several lvl 80 characters who are still sitting on lvl 30 story and haven’t touched season 2 yet and are bugged. funny thing is, the people I have completed season 2 on are actually fine, but I have characters ranging from level 21 to 80 who are now bugged, and some that aren’t. there doesn’t seem to be any consistancy to it.

Having the same issue with too, all but 1 of my 8 characters got there skill points taken away and I also lost my living world season 2 track.

Same here, all skillpoints are gone, and only 69 heroes point left.

It really speaks to the poor quality of a dev team that can’t release patches to some small portion of the game without breaking the whole thing. GW2 must have the most fragile code base/ release process I have ever seen.

It is very frequented by them, just it’s not very “replied” by them :P

Some of the historical achievements got removed aswell, go check yours. Blood and Madness, some EotM ones, etc, etc. I don’t recall all, but I do remember some of those, and they’re not there today. Some WvW ones (historical).

It seems that one of my friend that did not pre-buy the extension doesn’t get these bugs.

I don’t think it would have anything to do. I heard from a friend who didn’t buy the pre-purchase for xpac and was also affected.

They are located in Anet’s Forgot to add to patch folder.

Sigh, I too am have lost all of my completed season 2 chapters and it says I have to buy them again. This patch is pure evil, I hope they can fix this all soon.

Its always in but you need 4k Monitor to have effect on it

I think Anet must have let the Apprentices do this weeks patch.

I logged in today, and did the review of season 1. I was happy that Anet made that, but when i looked at my story journal, I realized that I am now locked out of all season 2!!!! I had them from when they where released, and i am wondering if we are getting them back? It wants me to buy them, but i already had them unlocked! Anet, lets get this fixed ASAP Please, And thanks in advance!

Hehe of course, I was just teasing. Yes, in-game bug reports can provide a lot more info to them than forums would do. However, just to recall, don’t expect direct response from in-game reports.

I did my daily before the patch as well. I tried completing one to see what would happen (Maguuma Forager) but the percentage didn’t update when I forged one plant so don’t worry about it.

Not sure players who haven’t done their dailies yet have the same bug though

Also, achievements and collections seem to have been reset too!

They are located in your xml config as far as I’ve discovered:

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Guild Wars 2\GFXSettings.Gw2.exe.xml

Find the line: <OPTION Name=“antiAliasing” Registered=“True” Type=“Enum” Value=“fxaa”>
And change fxaa to either smaa_low or smaa_high

Yes, the ingame AA menu will then be blank. (Do this outside of game after taking a backup, it writes the xml on exit overwriting changes)

You aren’t alone, look at some of the other bugs reported in the past 1/2 hour, biggest patch mistake a*net have made to date.

For most ppl maybe, but I for some reason have both my guardian and mesmer locked out, cause I got achievements with both of them?

My ele is fine, and same with my warrior. (have not checked my non 80s)

I have same problem on my three oldest characters. Newer ones are fine. I have lost all traits, collections and story progress on my mesmer, ranger and elementalist.
I can not redo the collections though; I tried re-equipping my armors and weapons that should unlock collections like ascended armors, but with no success.

all my toons had all their skills and specializations reset with the patch had them all unlocked and no hero points back to get them back???? can’t play this way this needs fixed ASAP this is just ridiculous!!!!!!

I lost all my skill training and specialization traning !! the point are not refunded back into unspent hero points. I have lost access to living world season 2 wich I had fully unlocked and played. Please Fix.

All progress didn’t reset. I believe it’s more just visual bug, which is annoying.

I didn’t log in until after the patch, got two dailies in WvW, they didn’t show up when I returned to PvP. I related in, now it’s saying I did get those two, but I’ve chopped down half of Brazil and still can’t get the last tree (got three of four in home instance for the third daily. Definitely bugged.

Training tab broke,
Basic and Rare collections reset to 0
Dry Top and SW AP all reset to 0
Fashion Collector reset to 0
Living Story 2 locked and rewards/reset to 0, all of living story is locked even the ones I completed.
HoM is still broken
Daily reset
pvp tracks are cleared and relocked

Same – have lost all training and lots of achievements since update

I’m not top of the leaderboard or anything but several achievements have been reset although the points still appear to be intact.

Achievement Resets:
Story Journal: All
General: All The Silverwastes, All Dry Top, Tradesman Legendary Tarrktun Supporter, Explorer related to the LS, Fashion Forward, Troll’s Revenge JP
Collections: All

General Resets:
All training lines reset although previously unlocked Skills and Specializations remain available.
All PvP reward tracks reset and progress cannot be made on them. Unlocked dungeon tracks via Story are locked again.
All unlocked LS2 episodes are now locked and available for purchase.
Dailies.

Yeah, it looks like a visual bug… since it’s wrong only on some characters.

Yes this is unacceptable. Everything is locked and blocking the LS reward process. It feel very harsh to see all the achievements you work your life with got reverted back to zero in one update. Its a bug for sure, they will fix it, we need to prey they won’t take another few months.

All that is bugged ONLY in characters older than 2014 (more or less). Just in case it helps to find and fix the bug.

In the meantime, play with newish characters i guess.
