Heart Quest: Help Paenula Train Troops.

Description: Use Paenula’s rifle to capture minotaurs and drakes, then spar with them in the fighting pit.

Problem: Fighting pit never activates. Paenula says to talk to Bracctus to tell him what you want to fight (screen 1 below). Talking to him gives no options to activate the pit (screen 2 below).

This heart is incredibly painful to do when there’s even just 1 other person around doing this heart.

It’s been a long time but, I seem to recall just heading into the pit and then it gives a dialog with the choices. No need to even talk to those NPCs.

Been removed. They took out the pit fighting part with the NPE which is bloody annoying.

Yes, thanks to NPE now you are required to hunt down minotaurs or drakes. There was even a recent thread about it too: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Ashford-Forum-Heart-Bugged/5000887
