Please fix the Gates of Arah meta event, once the event or the defense at Anchorage fails , it won’t start again.

This event is still seems bugged , the chain event won’t start at Meddler’s summit, the NPC’s are ready but the event(chain) won’t start.

Bump. Perma bugged on Jade Quarry. NPCs won’t do anything, event doesn’t start.

Can we get this looked at as it is the most important meta chain leading to the dungeon that completes the entire personal story and all dungeon stories?

The only current fix is to complete it after reset and never fail. And while our server has already learned this, I don’t think its realistic for anything below Tier 1 to keep it completed all day long, every day, indefinitely.

Patches only seem to solve the problem for a short time. I hope this doesn’t end up as one of those repeating glitches like Melandru, Lyssa and Dwayna are all prone to. All of the Arah pre-events themselves were already broken enough.

Orr desparately needs some love. :/

After the recent, almost the day frequent patches it still gets bugged / stuck .
The recent pathes fixed it temporarily until the event failed once.
I’ve tried several NA servers, the same problem everywhere.

Totally agree… Orr needs some help. The events bug often and now The Gates of Arah event won’t even start
Unlike the other events in Orr, Chan seems to be bugged on all servers. At least when Melandru, Dwayna, or whatever is bugged on Northern Shiverpeaks… we could go to another server to do it. Not an option here though.

Event is bugged (stuck on “Preparation”) on over 90% of the servers.

On TC, ot has been stalled on this reset for at least a day or two; it was stalled on the pre-Wintersday reset for about 10 days. It was also stalled for the reset before that, but I didn’t keep track of how long.

Ya, I’ve checked 3 server and the event was broken on all of them, all i really want is the karma armor, maybe they could just put the karma vendor up untill its resolved.

I got put into overflow for the WBT and the event seemed to be working there.

Can we get some sort of response on this, its really making me mad I have no way of getting the karma armor.

I’m speaking from Jade sea (French server). We are doing it everyday. Since last patch It seem that you have to clean Jofast camp and escort some NPC from this camp to debug Arah’s gate first escort.

It’s now bugged on all NA server.

Yea, its really getting annoying as I want to get my karma armor, all i really want is a response from a net saying they at least know that it is an issue and that it is being addressed.

Yeah I enjoy doing this event and it has been bugged for ages, in fact a lot of the orr events seem bugged.

Why cant the dev fix things like this rather than add useless childish content?

I never complain if the living world story is bugged, though this might have been caused by the Dec 10 update.
Gates of Arah is the most enjoyable end game chain event and should be on the top of "to fix " list.

I don’t even mind if they event is down for a while if they don’t know how to fix it as long as they leave the dungeon open and the karma vendor up. It appears they have left the dungeon open but there is no possible way to get the karma armor.

If any one gets a server that has a karma vendor up can you please post on this forum or message me in game.

I want to flip the Gates of Arah, again and several times a day!
On my server 2 major events are bugged out of 3 in CS.

I used to do Grenth, Melandru and Gates of Arah on all of my toons per day but now there is NO SERVER where Arah or Melandru works anymore. Grenth is the only world event left in Orr…

Come on Anet and fix this finally (been 2 freaking weeks already!) instead of trying to squeeze more money out of us with the gem shop…

So I’m guessing this issue won’t be resolved before January 21st or possibly even later. This is really bugging me, you can’t leave a massive bug in like this for over a month without at least commenting on this post saying that its broken.

So after the patch and reset yesterday Gates of Arah is buggy again on nearly every EU server. It’s stuck again and doesn’t start at all. Guess it will be only a mattter of time and Melandru will bug out too.

This is getting pretty embarassing because this isn’t the first time this happens but the last time it started bugging out was OVER 3 WEEKS and wasn’t playable at all. What the hell did you do all this 3 weeks?!?!

Just lost Gates of Arah and Shank Anchorage to the Risen on Blackgate after cleansing Temple of Melandru.

8 minutes later, Warmaster Chan and the Pact reappeared at Meddler’s Summit and stopped moving from there. Warmaster Chan didn’t even speak yet.

6 more servers to go.

Update: No longer bugged on Blackgate at the moment. Somehow the NPCs progressed hours later.

Once again by checking wikis Gates of Arah meta chain you can see that it is inactive on every single server.

Please try to fix this, one of the few good farming places in this game and it bugs out all the time.

Lyssa bugged on Sea of Sorrows and Dragonbrand and Melandru bugged on Blackgate. This is getting ridiculous. Can someone from ArenaNet please acknowledge this and start working on a fix?

This is just getting ridiculous. One of the most important dynamic events in the game lore wise and it’s unaccessible 90% of the time.

Yea and it’s because nobody cares as long as the gem shop works properly and people are able to buy stuff. Guess how long it would take them to fix a problem with the gem shop, that’d be solved in 24 hours…

Izzmek is not leaving Gavbeorn on Crystal Desert… :P Defended successfully. Are there any requirements we need to know?

Dredge Commissar, Gates of Arah, Ogre Wars (Foulbear Chieftain), Melandru Temple, Lyssa Temple are bugged on my home server and guest servers.

Getting unacceptable as these are the premier PvE content.

Fix this please.

During Izzmek escort, at the second beacon the mobs stopped spawning after 1-2 minutes. Now the whole pre event won’t start.

Don’t you guys know? They don’t want you to farm, durr.

Just read the Bug-Fixes section for the patch notes of Origins of Madness, January 21st. Still no fixes for the World Bosses and Temples meta-events. Unacceptable, considering the 6-week break for ArenaNet.

just like the original poster said, this bug seems to be associated with any failure at anchorage (the event after chan or the defend event) leading to chan bugging out at meddlers.

If anyone at anet is reading this… please fix this event!

There were like 6-8 new builds since it got bugged.
I bought this game recently and I’m embarrased that they can’t fix a major world event like this in 40 days time.

Another new build next Tuesday, are all the world bosses going to be fixed already? Why isn’t even the Community Manager giving some kind okittennowledgement that this is being worked on?
