Portal skill just doesn’t work right. It fails to often. As much as I understand, it just doesn’t work if:

1) U make portal near some object that can be clicked with F button. U just dont get and portal msg at all. So…u can’t teleport.

2) Sometimes it fails cause of landscape. Dunno what triggers it…to low land…or to high… or it just doesn’t work on slope…anyway…it annoys most of all….cause trouble N1 u can at least understand and not use portals near clickable objects….but u can’t predict landscape.

3) It just to slow to appear…sometimes…even when everything is perfect… u just have to w8 to long. Portal already opened….but u still have to w8 for 2-3 seconds for F to appear….

Can u guys plz do smth with this skill? Maybe change mechanic for 3-rd activation of this skill? Smth like 1-st press = entre portal. 2-n press – exit portal – 3rd press – teleport every non enemy hero in aoe of exit and entre portals. Mayby 4-th and 5-th clicks should be about teleport as well.

Portal is limited to approximately 4000 yards.
You have 60 seconds from the time the Portal : Entre is placed to put down your Portal: Exuent. Once your portal is actived you can use the portal to go back and fourth for 10 seconds by using your Interact Key – Default “F”

Well…did know everything except for range of portal. Well…I hope u right and im just placed them to far from each other…

Btw….they rly should add range to description. How I was supposed to know about range of 4000?

So…If i understand right…. I can use portals only in max range of catapult boulder throw?

There are a lot of details missing from skills. I believe they will work on improving the tool tips over time.

Well…thx for info anyway. Now, thx to you, I can at least work on using portals in www. U can’t work on plan, if your weapon works with 50% failure chance.

The description of portal says the exit one should last 20 seconds but as said above, it only lasts 10 secs.

Quite hard to use it in fights as suggested by the mesmer movie for it on the GW2 site. Hope it gets sorted and increased to 20 seconds.
