ok .. from anywhere in the game try this in sequence :

1) enter PVP lobby
2) from PVP lobby, enter your Guild Hall
3) leave the Guild Hall
4) leave the PVP lobby

… and you’ll be ported to the north area of Lions Arch. is this working as intended ? i can verify this works on my guildie’s f2p account low level character as well.

It’s the default for when the game doesn’t know where you were last. It only keeps track (apparently) back to one previous zone. So its not exactly intended but it’s not un- intended. Just how it works and more of a QoL thing that they probably won’t have time to address.

i’m not sure if low level f2p character is allowed to get into LA, but if they are not this surely is a glitch for them to get there.

If you mean the spot near the portal to Gendarran Fields yes, it’s like Andraus said. That spot is the default location for when the game loses track of where your last position was. It also happens when you crash during a map change or get disconnected in a few cases, then it can be said that’s when the game doesn’t “know” where to “put” you. I don’t know if it’s intended or not but I have noticed this behavior started when the new Lion’s Arch was opened, I can’t recall the game making such repositioning before.

Curious fact, although not confirmed. If you open your world map while standing at that spot and zoom out the most you can you will notice that the spot is exactly, or almost exactly, the center of the world map, possibly that’s why that spot is chosen.
