I think i may have found a Security Flaw on the GW2 website / Forum Site but I don’t want to post it here to avoid possible account theft, were can i post it?

I went to the “Ask a Question” but i didn’t think that this particular issues fits in to any of the available options on the drop down box…

Ask a question is the place to go. Do not worry bout selecting the wrong category, if it ends up at the wrong department it will be forwarded internally.

yeah i though that to, but since they always suggest one to post on i though they might have different priorities or something.

I ask again, can a dev direct me in the right direction?

I found out that i could log into the GW2 website on non authorized networks.
I can log directly into my account without having to insert my username and password on an authorized computer where i had previously logged in even though this computer was shut down for a few days…

I suppose you’d like to know how…

i guess its not important i’ll just keep it to myself then.

Contacting support is a much faster way to get a response; they have people dedicated to handling concerns such as you posted. This forum has 100s of new posts every day, but the ANet staff reading/posting here have other responsibilities besides reviewing timely topics.

tks for the info, although this is not a game exploit I will send my findings to this e-mail address, they will hopefully forward it to the department responsible for account security.
