Guild Wars 2

Upon breaking Eir free out of her cell, my screen immediately freezes — it did this to me the 1st time I went into verdant brink & the cutscene with the vines plays. This is my 2nd attempt at trying this long story quest, same result.

I had this exact same thing happen to me. 3 times in a row.

Things I did before the fourth (succesful) attempt was: make sure all new HoT content was downloaded, all settings to low and disable autoloot (because somebody on the forum ssid the autoloot option caused crashing). And for some reason it worked. Not sure why or how, but it did.

tried it yesterday ( sunday) and it still crashed at the eir/faolain rescue spot.

it doesnt crash me, but disconnects me from the instance, I dont seem to disconnect anywhere else in the open world really.

I am happy to report that patch “iteration” seems to have resolved the issue. The cutscene with eir & faolain triggered and the boss battle could now be done .

I am also experiencing this issue and am crashing at the exact same point as OP originally posted. I have already crashed twice in a row… any ideas?

Crashed on LEAVING this instance through zone portal. All 2h invested WASTED.

Highest grade of demotivating the users. Evening wasted. Not sure if to try again at all OR WHY. Disgusting.
