What is it that causes a Very loud random pop up sound as if something was dropped down a tunnel or hallway?

This is the most awful thing ever. I run with my master volume all the way down so sometimes I’m just relaxing with my headphones on and BOOM outta nowhere my headphones explode.

thats another interesting fact the sound happens even while the game is minimized.
