Is the JP professor portmatt’s lab bugged? The unnamed things you’re meant to destroy (not the 4 lightning turrets) don’t have a health bar like they’re meant to and I can’t attack them.

Do you mean the unnamed consoles? The ones surrounding / outside the entrance to the lab? If so….you’re supposed to interact with them and go answer a series of queries from the consoles:

“Destroy either of the unnamed objects on either side of the cave (they look like bigger versions of the attack turrets). You may want to destroy the one further from the repair golems.”

I can’t destroy any of those unnamed things and all the data recorders I interact with only give me the options of “—> Continue” and “X Leave”. The only thing I can do is destroy the small lightning turrets that shoot at me.

The thing you are supposed to destroy looks like a lamp post.
Once you destroy it the golem will move. You interact with the console the golem was sitting at before.

There are three of those lamp post things, and the one in the middle has that orange health bar (ie. can’t kill it) and the others don’t have any bars at all. =\

Usually when I go into that JP, only one of the two posts is damageable (though it varies), it’s maybe one in fifteen times that both posts are working. And if I kill a post but take too long for some reason, the post becomes undamageable after the repair golems fix it for an unknown span of time. I sat there for about 15 minutes without the post becoming damageable again, but I know it was damageable a couple of hours later.

The middle one is the one you interact with after you set the coordinates so that part is fine. I’ve only ever used the lamp on the left since it is closer to the console.

I’ve tried at several different times now and the turrets just can’t be targeted. I also found this thread so I think this bug has happened before:
