When I make the Thaw Elixir I don’t receive cold resistance making it impossible to progress into the bitter cold. I received credit for making it in the journal and achievements, but do not receive the buff even when making subsequent elixirs

Yep. I had to make it twice to get the buff (thank goodness I managed not to finish things earlier!), and my party mate can’t get it at all, because the Grawl Firestone was consumed…
And you’ve “fixed” that so that you can buy only one soulbound item per account per day.
