Guild Wars 2

This event in Gyre Rapids (Timberline Falls) can not be initiated anymore. The GW2 wiki also mentions that since October, once this event has been completed, it does not reset. I have checked for the last couple of days and no go.

In the end it should spawn a vendor named Quinta who then sells the Ancient Stone Summit Shoulder Spikes which is needed for a collection achievement.

This bug has existed at least since the 9/9 patch. I finally found Qunita in her merchant state yesterday and immediately turned on my commander tag and told everyone about it. I even stayed and organized a group for the defend event so everyone could get their shoulder spikes.

The only way to get this NPC in the merchant state currently is to get it immediately after a patch or after spawning a new megaserver overflow, where the event will run once successfully before bugging out.

I haven’t had much experience with bugs in the game, but does it always take so long for Arenanet to fix a bug like this?
