i’m here just to explain the fact that Purge Gyro is bugged, since we (engineer) have few condition cleansing skill that little friend can hold us better outside lion’s arch. Unfortunatelly it’s bugged, it will purge 2 condition, but only on activation, than circle around you doing nothing more (i tested it on a continue source of condition), it says “recharge time: 3 seconds” but nothing happen, no 2 condition cleanse and no small circle of area of effect under the gyro, if you look on the tooltip of the other Gyro as Sneak or Bulwark it refer as “Interval: 3 seconds” and not recharge time, maybe it’s why it didn’t read the algorithm properly.

Seconded. You didn’t read it wrong or anything, it just doesn’t do anything close to what its skill description is. I had tried analysis of it in fractals pve and test arenas in pvp, same result. Cleanses 2 condis on use, then follows you around doing nothing…to group our results; my thread with tests is here:
