Puzzle jump discoverer does not registrate
Daily JP completer:
- Open a chest of any JP with any character
Daily JP discoverer:
- Enter three different JPs with any characters
Monthly JP completer:
- Open 12 different JP chests with any characters
Hint: If you do the three JPs in LA with 8 characters 30 days (240 chests a month), this achievement credits you for 3 JPs.

I play on EU desolation and after doing some puzzles I noticed the puzzle jump discoverer was not updated.
Is this been updated so you can only do certain puzzles you have not done before? It was not like that but I could have missed an update.
To make this one not tooeasy only one jumpingpuzzle in LA will register. When you have done one in LA, you need to leave town to find JP’s outside of town.

That’s weird I tried all 3 of them in LA and they did not register, but obsidian samctum did.
Well I guess it’s because I did all 3 of them not 24 hours ago, did not think about that.

The daily puzzle discoverer is not working for me either.
Yes, I’m visiting the same puzzles I visited yesterday (I put 4 easy ones on my radar to do every day for the crafting mats), but those were all visited ‘before’ the daily reset. The proof, I suppose, being that as I’m visiting them now, I’m getting to open the chests, so they’ve all reset.
At any rate, I visited them about the same time yesterday, and ‘every’ daily quest should be tied to something which resets at the daily reset time regardless. This being ‘discover’, even if it were some sort of ‘24 hour’ clock, it wouldn’t matter.
So yes, this is bugged this morning, and unfortunate, because I really needed this one today.

Just finished the daily using the 3 in LA, this is not the first time I’ve finished puzzle discoverer using the 3 in LA either.
Also having problems on Gandara.
The cave JP in LA (Urmaug) will not register, it always used to.
The pirate one has registered ok for me though.
So I went ‘back’ to one I already did this morning (and it allowed me to open the chest, I might add) which didn’t register. I went back because the rich mithril node on top hadn’t reset (which ‘is’ on a 24 hour clock), and this time, the ‘discovery’ did register.
So the JP chest reset, apparently, on the ‘daily’ reset like everything else ‘daily’ does. The discovery ‘hook’, if you will, is tied to a true 24 hour clock, like a vegetable farm or mithril node.
And it’s tied to a daily quest, which we all assume, since fire was invented, reset for us when dailies reset.
That is silly.
Which is why it won’t get fixed.

Because…
Chest doesn’t reset with daily either. Not consistently anyway. I tried to check during the Sept 30 → Oct 1 reset but a server reset in the middle made things inconclusive.
Both were at the Morgan’s Spiral chest. One opened it 6.5h before reset. That one reset with the daily. One opened it around 3 hours before reset. That one did not reset with the daily but another 1h45m or so later it did reset however there was a server reset between daily reset and my second check of the chest.
Daily JP completer:
- Open a chest of any JP with any character
Opening the chest is not needed, getting close enough to the chest will update.
Daily JP discoverer:
- Enter three different JPs with any characters
Somewhere at the beginning of the JP is the update trigger.
So, having a char parked near the chest will not cause update.
Urmaug’s didn’t register even when it hadn’t been done on any character at any time for the past 5 days. So, there is something wonky going on with that one.
