Say my monthly challenge is to acquire 30 skill points, or to salvage 10 items. If I am in the pvp lobby and checking my inventory and i consume a skill point or salvage an item, i don’t get the point towards my daily or monthly challenge. Im pretty sure this is a bug since it would be a huge inconvenience to constantly be leaving and entering the pvp lobby between matches to do certain things such as salvage and consume.
