Pvp traits/Gear Breaking Activity Mini Games
Not only sigils. Runes too. There’s players that recover from stuns WAY too fast, and some even summon creatures like the Ogre Rock Dog.
And I think there’s even traits working in there.
Agreed. I ran into a well know mini game player (they know how it should work and how this is breaking the mode) who was knowingly using these. So players are knowingly doing this.
They claim “they do not know”, but it’s more than suspicious to see players that exclusively bring sigils capable of damaging in AoEs (which deal massive damage and kills anyone around, allowing them to rack points like crazy), increase speed and reduce the knockdowns, which allows them to just stand up and run away when the crab is thrown at them.
Agreed. It needs to be fixed soon. This bug is making a mockery of all the Activities. :/
On the other hand, I feel no regret for using the “2 crabs” bug against a player who is obviously taking advantage of sigils/runes to gain an unfair advantage in Crab Toss. If he’s going to cheat his way to victory, then I see no issue with using the bug to put myself on the same team as him and gain victory credit alongside him. (One time the entire arena all got victory credit. Was rather amusing to see.)
Going to shamelessly bump this as it needs to be addressed asap.
They’ll probably have it fixed for the 20th.
Or maybe they won’t, and then hilarity will ensue over Aspect Arena, as 100-point health pools would be too easy to drop with this gear.
Activities are dead.

Front page till fixed…………………..woohooooooo I suspect I will be here for a very long time.
An entire format broken la la la la and no one cares la la la la. Sing it……format broken….format broken
I hope this gets fixed with the patch as Sanctum Sprint and Aspect Arena will be fubar at introduction.
So just wondering if this was even read?
Pretty sure it expressed exactly what was going to happen well in advance.
Fair to say “Told you so”?
Turns out they didn’t fix it after all.
And I was right – this was absurdly funny to see play out in Aspect Arena.
And then twenty seconds passed and the real disgust of it all settled in.

The most recent patch should have fixed it. Shame that it took this long (and another “it affects the Living Story! We must fix it!” situation) to get it done though. >.>
It took them less than nine hours to fix a bug that’s been around for over a month, which people have been complaining about for a month, using for a month, and was known to cause trouble in content that would return in this major patch.
Only after the patch hit and people could see in real time how much damage this bug did on the state of one of the returning games that some have been waiting to get back to for almost a year was anything done about it, and it took them not even nine hours to address.
Every complaint that anyone had about any impact of this bug between the times of the last two major patches was for nothing. No attention was given during that whole time to the quality of life in activities. Only after content that was expected to return and was part of a big celebration (and opener for China) and the bug could stand out like a sore thumb was it even recognized that there was a problem, and it was addressed the same day.
There is no love for activities on this team, and there is no retribution for any of you who spoke out about any of this for all of the last month.

I have to admit that it’s very disheartening. Knowing that it could be fixed so quickly makes me believe that they simply do not read the forums or the support tickets.
I guess I’ll just forgo reporting bugs/goldsellers/exploits from now on since it’s been shown to be a waste of time.
