I just tried gifting the new quaggan mini set to my friend and got to the confirm stage. I clicked the button and it took my gems away, but it never confirmed it went through. Would she have got it?
The other problem is, she doesn’t have internet access at the moment, so she can’t check. I bought it for her to cheer her up and it’d be a surprise when she gets back on.
I just wasted 16 gold otherwise.
