Guild Wars 2

Was running around killing the veteran centaurs with some guildies when we suddenly all downed at the same time. We thought maybe an admin was messing with us, but we checked combat logs. (See attachment.)

We looked up after that and saw that we had been underneath one of the arenas, and came to the conclusion that someone failed fighting Liadri just as she casted the AoE, the floor opened, and it continued straight down to the ground below where we were — but she despawned before it hit, thus giving us the “Unknown” attacker.

Granted, I assume that the chances of this happening was a once-in-a-blue-moon ordeal — but is there a way to fix it?

sometimes when an arena is empty and there is no boss in it, there is an AOE circle randomly popping up for no reason. I dont think that has anything to do with what happened to you though, since i doubt that the circle would be big enough to hit your entire group, let alone that it is a shadowfall attack.
