and possible green ghost scout glitch

I just selected to receive a Potent Ring of Berserkering after beating the “Forewarned is Forearmed” quest(lvl 48 vigil quest in case I got the name wrong, I am an asura) (or something like that) and all I got was the potent ring.. the add-on that had bonus to crit damage/precision/power never appeared.

Also as not sure if it is designed this way but the green ghost “scout” can travel through walls. I was fighting the green ghost scout at the top of the tunnel that leads to the room the scout spawns in when I died the first(and only) time. When I respawned inside the instance, the scout came up through the ground within 2-3 seconds of me respawning and started fighting me without resetting so I got to fight him with normal weapons instead of having to use water weapons. I waited to respawn until right as my partner died so the ghost must have never left the state of being in battle. I waited because I wanted to see if my partner would kill 1 of the sharks or the ghost.

I didn’t think to take a picture of it at the time so I only have the Potent Ring with the unused upgrade slot.

Also on a semantic note, I do not like that if you choose one of the side paths instead of going straight down it to the ghost/shark room just boots you out of the instance without a warning other than your partner saying “this is a dead end”(I was kicked out of the instance 2-3 seconds after this when I confirmed visually that it was a dead end). I did not enjoy being kicked for exploring everything AND I did not even leave the instance zone. So maybe either close the side paths or not have it boot you if you look around.

Also the drainage gates when going down are super annoying to swim through(but I am pretty bad on swimming on this game)… maybe make the opening a little larger.

You could get condition damage on your ring?
I wanted that for my Mesmer lol. I’ll need to check if the ring issue has occurred for me.

With regards to the dead ends, yes I personally was going to avoid them. Out of morbid curiosity I went down one to see what would happen. I got kicked too

Also yes for the teleporting shark. I got slaughtered in the water, and upon respawning I got a small fright after seeing several crazy ghost/shark things fly up through the ground and make a beeline straight for me. I took great pleasure in killing them on land though lol.

I suppose I forgot to say I have an Elementalist (didn’t even think about loot being different for different classes) but it shows that in the screenshot I took of the glitched loot.

The lack of upgrade actually makes the quest reward ring worse than the 2 blues I am using, with the upgrade it would have been the best by far.

Curiosity is the reason I went down the side lanes also. I figured they were wrong but thought there might be a chest or something on the side so I wanted to go down them first before moving on in the instance. I feel that is just poor design to boot someone out of an instance for wanting to explore the entire instance.

Nice to know I am not the only one fighting a teleported unit but my sharks stayed down in the water, makes that seem more like a glitch then as I just wondered if the green thing could go through walls.

Also, the little green arrows that tell you where to go were incredibly wrong on that one also as they had me turning into walls. I think the height indicator was a little confused when you were in the swimming portion.
