Fortunately this seems to happen only with phantasms and not with clones^^ pvp is still doable.

Seems to be an issue with particle effect filters interacting with the glove’s particle effects. It happens when I enter spectral walk as well.

Same for me.. And I have Asura..

this thing also happens on my thief when im in stelth.im not home atm so i can’t post a picture but im sure another thief got the same problem and maybe he can post a pic.

this has been in the game since release

just use mad kings costume and use nourishment that turns you into a ghost and you will see the effect

i made a topic about it yesterday and i think Viking Jorun is right with what he said:

Viking Jorun.5413:

The VFX on the radiant vambraces and mad kings costume pick a texture that your character is using except the geometry involved has its ambient color and incandescence turned up to make it indistinguishable from the original texture. This is to decrease bandwidth and send less packets between the client and server by consolidating and re-using textures.

EDIT: This goes for every particle effect that emits a “blinding” light effect. The “dark” VFX from the fused weapons and hellfire armor come from their own texture packets.

Its strange that they picked faces and breast shots for the texture, however.
