Q:

Hey! So lately I’ve been getting random black screens (black screens in like my monitor says “No Cable Connected”). I can’t press ctrl alt delete or anything, but the game sounds are still running.

I got the newest drivers, tried running lowest res. Done hardware tests. Nothing…

What to dooooooooooooooo?!

Hey, I had same issue.

Found a post mentioning it might have something to do with my connection. The solution they suggested, was to get a VPN.
I downloaded one (Windscribe), used a trial version to test it. All crashes gone after that, but the VPN gave me bad lag, because the trial version had limited servers to choose from. Noticed humblebundle.com had a sale where you get 1 year premium for 12$ (Sale is up for 6 more hours) and now I got no lag and no crashes

Used to crash every 10-15 mins. I’m also speaking with the support atm., seeing if there’s something they can do, so I don’t have to use and pay for a VPN.

You can try running in Windowed Fullscreen mode. I used to have to do that when I ran an AMD R 290. Regular fullscreen was freezing up about once per day if I played a long time.

You also want to keep an eye on your hardware temps. If they overheat sometimes the computer will stall, sometimes it will reboot.

Mine is doing the same thing occasionally, and what I’ve read is that it could be something to do with your display drivers or an incompatible app. I make sure I have no browsers open in the background and don’t have any issues, but it does happen when I open up certain websites. It’s annoying, and I haven’t found a perfect solution yet
