Guild Wars 2

I’m having the occasional issue of randomly warping elsewhere in a map while normally walking around. I first noticed it in HotM where I was warped inside of a wall while gliding about. I would essentially void out and get placed either near where I was, or placed back at the waypoint where you enter the HotM. However I also had this happen again while I was harvesting elder wood at the Melandru Statue west of Pagga’s post. Randomly I was warped to the far side of the map, out of normally reachable area, and was instantly killed. Has anyone else encountered anything like this?

Attached is a screenshot of my map when it happened, literally 1 second I’m at the statue, the next I’m out of bounds.

Sounds like you might be having some sort of weird latency issue, i.e. your computer thinks you are in spot (x,y,z), but the game server disagrees and thinks you are in (a,b,c). The game still accepts your keyboard commands so when you think you are jumping over a short log, the server thinks you are gliding someplace else.

Since I haven’t seen any similar reports (in-game, forums, or reddit), I recommend working directly with customer service on this:

But yes, you’re not the only person this happens to. Happens to some of my guildmates as well.
