The first time I ever did a dungeon in GW2, was 14 months ago, as a Ranger. In Ascalonian Catacombs. That was THE WORST experience I have ever had in any dungeon in any game.
The mechanics were utterly broken. How does a ranged weapon not hit the burrows? Shooting above it and missing? I literally LOATHED the thought of ever doing a dungeon again because of that one broken experience with your hilariously broken mechanics.
Of course time went on, I did other dungeons with ranger, or went warrior to make life easy etc.
Today, for the first time in 14 months. I decided to muck around with range in AC, pistol thief to be exact, just because I felt like doing something different.
Try to shoot the burrows. Nope. Same laughably broken mechanic exists. Shooting at nothing, doing nothing.
I don’t understand how this problem still exists. Thank you for bringing back haunting memories of release anger at poor mechanics and poor game design.
Back to melee facetanking.
