Q:

[“Guard”] 1/15 (Shout Mastery – 15 – 20% = 12)

Beastmastery – [Shout Mastery] Shouts Recharge 20% Faster.
Nature Magic – [Nature’s Voice] Swiftness 13 Sec (33% Speed).

1.135 sec before [Pet Recall, F3] can be cast. 0.135 sec added to a 1 sec cast timer.
13.05 sec before [“Guard”] can be cast again. 1.05 sec added to a 12 sec cooldown.

That’s a total of 14.185 sec to recast this skill chain OR 1.185 sec w/o speed.

In conclusion if the skill cast time + skill cooldown = 13 sec and the boon from that skill is 13 sec there should be zero downtime if timed right. What am I missing? Tool Tip error?

Not sure about the math because I’m a few drinks deep right now but I run shout master with runes of the pack and I get 16 seconds of swiftness on a 12 second cool down (not including the ridiculous cast time for a shout… is my ranger taking a deep breath first or something?)

I tested this for about 3hrs. IMO the math is solid. You have surpassed this “bug” with runes. Thx for responding…

Heyh, you are probably missing after cast (time between when boon is applied and when recharge actually starts). Not documented in tooltips.
