If you use Swoop and charge downhill the character will stop after the charge and play the “stop walking” animation. When it’s finished the character jumps.

Is there a possibility you can show it or record this to the forums?

The bug can be easily reprocuded by making your character lose contact to the ground for a second during the running animation. After that the character will stop, wait for the rest of the running animation duration and jump afterwards.

Unfortunately, it’s been this way since the dawn of time. And I doubt it’ll get fixed any time soon (if ever). But, if you catch it just right, you can walk on air and avoid the stutter step. /shrugs

this is what kittenes me off about arenanet.
bugs in skills that everybody knows about that have been in the game since release and 2 years later its still not fixed.
