Ranger Longbow Pushback Bug
I use ranger longbow skills extensively and would y that I’ve not seen this happen. Sometimes the skill doesn’t activate and goes on a short recharge, but I’ve never seen a pushback revert…
Were any snares being used at the time? I’ve had trouble knocking back things that were immobilized.

no. i never had trouble pushing back immobilized foes. but the pushback revert describes it pretty good and it happens in all situations and really often. just yesterday about 5 times in an hour of playing. i tried to find out if its related to different situations but it seems pretty universal.
Ok, seen this twice now.
Once on one of the husks from the toxic alliance.
Once on a risen…
On the husk, I could see it possibly being immune to knockback, if my client didn’t know that I could see it knocking back and teleporting up. On the risen, I’d knocked it through a gate that is normally impassible. I could see the client saying ‘knock back successful!’ and shoving the risen back, then the server coming in and saying "yeah, but that’s impassible, you silly client.’ And telling the client to move the risen back.
Please, what are the circumstances of your failed knockbacks? Specific foes? Uneven ground (a concern with my husk KB), standing above or below the foe on the Z axis? (I was above for the husk, below for the risen — knockbacks from above tend to have distance issues in my experience)

I see this on my Engineer’s Rifle 4 pushback, as well as the Toolkit 4 pull all the time as of late. I always thought it was just lag.
I’ll just chime in and add that I’m encountering the exact same issue that OP is seeing; I’ve been running longbow on ranger for over 5 months now, and this is the first time I’ve seen enemies ‘rubber band’ back to where they started after using longbow skill 4.
I’ve only observed this behaviour after Tower of Nightmares patch hit. In about an hour running around Kessex Hills killing mobs as part of the events, I’ll probably encounter this behaviour about 8-10 times. So not always, but enough to be noticeable.
i´ll run a view tests about this.. so far i could figure out if its connected to specific circumstances. if i have time i will make a video for this.
Happens with me too.
