Ranger Pets are broken on swap
Maybe check the first page before creating a topic to see if someone else havent posted about it?
I like making duplicate threads to raise awareness
here is video proof of the bug! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XpYTv9Dwxag

That tends to slow things down, since the mods have to deal with bookkeeping duplicate threads instead of alerting developers. It’s a bit like cutting in line/skipping the queue because you think your issue is more important than any others.
Next time, please just add to an existing thread and/or +1 the post that best describes the bug. Or use the in-game /bug reporting tool, since that provides ANet with additional data about what’s going on behind the scenes.
Now if only quickness actually affected them, then they’d only be unresponsive for 1 or 2 seconds. One can only dream :/
Why is this already on page 3? Needs to be fixed, the whole class is broken without the pet. (We don’t have soulbeast yet!)
I semi have a feeling either it’s a massive broken issue with pets in general in conjunction with SoulBeast’s programming or they intended it to be like this for SoulBeast and didn’t mention it in the patch notes.
Obviously, I’m leaning toward the former but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was the latter either.
I just hope it gets fixed soon
A patch update and this issue was not part of it. A major class mechanic broken and they sit on their hands with it.
Can confirm pet is unresponsive to any commands (i.e. F1, F2, F3) and does absolutely nothing (literally just sits stationary) for approx 3-5 seconds after swap.
Posting to raise awareness, if this remains in the game on Path of Fire release it will break the class even further, for when you hop out of beast mode, the pet is going to sit there and do nothing still!
Why hasn’t anet at least acknowledge this?
Just so we’re clear, I’m a solo player – Kirito
Live, Laugh,
Ranger isn’t Warrior, that’s why it hasn’t been acknowledged yet.
In all seriousness just a “Hello, thanks for letting us know.” is enough.
