Had this happen on Henge Borderlands / Sunny. I was on the inside and my pet could walk out through the door and hit people. People on the outside could send their pets inside to attack anything they could target.
I’ve noticed this as well. When defending I’ve managed to just get inside one of the keeps through the portal, just to have a hunter pet follow, and kill me inside.
