If a ranger dies underwater,and lets his pet revive him,there is No way for anyone to outdamage the healing that the pet does.In other words you can hit the ranger with everything you got,but you will see the rangers hp go up and up eventhough the pet is death aswell and unable to be killed.The ranger will Always come back alive no matter what you do.Pretty serious bug,ive been hitting a ranger with 4 people while his pet was easily reviving him,we couldnt outdamage the healing the pet did to the downed ranger.Seen this happen multiple times.

That sounds much more like random players (who happened to be rangers) using an “invulnerability while downed” exploit than a bug with the ranger pet. I know I died plenty of times underwater at various occasions and was not miraculously saved by a super-healing pet outhealing all the incoming damage, and I have read threads about downed players in wvw exploiting to be unkillable (without water or pets involved) in the past.

This issue, yes, one ranger vs me (I play almost full burst damage), and for me I took down his health while underwater, so he get downed, then my second burst, takes his health to 50%, then I burst again but then his pet has healed him so my next burst will still deal the damage, but due to pet healing him, he will now have more than 50%, I think 60-80% actually, really frustrating cause he got rezzed then I got downed, though it was my kill, luckily I managed to rally, and somehow another ally and me managed to finish him, yet with loads of problem

No it’s not invulnerability,i do damage like i said.meaning,i see the hits i do,but his pet is outhealing any dmg done to the player.
