Guild Wars 2

There is an obvious bug with the Ranger’s pets keeping the names you assign to each pet. Changing from my pink moa named Pinky Tuscadero to a white alpine wolf and having it Pinky Tuscadero, well, it looks pretty funny, lol. Is this something that will be fixed? Also, sometimes when changing pets it will go back to it’s capped name of “Juvenile so-and-so”.

I dunno if this is really a bug, but i find it annoying too. They should keep names with the type of animal you named not with the animal slot.

I agree it’s probably not really a bug, but it is a bit annoying. Quite surprised this wasn’t something already in (being able to have separate names for ALL pets – if you can do it for 2…why not many!). Hopefully something that will get addressed in the future.

I thinks this bug is very boring. I need all the time to change the name of my pets.
Please correct this simple bug.
