They are applying buffs without priority to players over other entities, in a group, you are unlikely to see the buffs at all for this reason.
They especially like to buff illusions and other spirits first, making them absolutely useless.

I’ve only seen buffs on no more than one of my allies even when they don’t even have pets, illusions & clones etc. Maybe they give it to the dungeon npcs?
