The trait Light on your feet was recently adjusted to make short bow skills always behave as though you were behind your target. The skill fact shows this effect, but the trait does not actually give this effect.
You can see my chat log showing a DPS report at 3:54 AM where I stood in front of the test golem and attacked with Poison Volley and no other skill. At 3:55 AM, you can see a new DPS report from a new test golem which I stood behind and attacked with Poison Volley and no other skill. You can also see that I have Poison Volley set to auto attack, so the attack interval is consistent. I ran this test with Light on your Feet selected in my specialization tab, and I made no changed of any kind between the two scenarios other than positioning myself in front of my target for the first trial and behind my target for the second trial.
