So I’ve noticed (mainly through fractals), that rare spineguards (Backslot) drop a lot.
This would be great! Except SPINEGUARDS are unable to be salvaged, or mystic forged…
I can salvage other backslots, just not spineguards.
Could you please clarify whether this is a bug, or working as intended?
Other spineguards cannot be salvaged either (have a green one with an exquisite coral gem socketed), which means you cant recoup the upgrades or anything.

Probably intended to keep them cheap. Anything able to be melted into ectos has a price floor of about 80-85% of what ectos are.
Its just interesting that it is the only form of backpiece to not be salvageable (and not even a quest reward…)
