Many of the maps have ways to get under them (without teleport hacks)..why a town M A P.. holy cow i cannot write map without being censored? is so important confuses me to no end. What benefit does anyone get from this? NTFM.

This needs a priority hot fix. It interferes with world completion and guild treks. In fact, it needs to be reverted until a solution can be found. A few people swimming around where they aren’t suppose to is no where near the problem this is.

Agreed, as was mentioned earlier, it also breaks dive master. With so many things affected, this needs to have a priority fix.

Fix it please !

Keep in mind that it is Sunday now, we won’t see a fix before tomorrow, and I bet it will be on “patch Tuesday.”

Please fix this, it is blocking map completion and diving achievements for guildies.

Could not do Ideation Leap for Guild Trek. We would have to keep doing guild treks until we didn’t have ideation leap.

A perfect demonstration of incorrect priorities. Wasting time and resources on breaking the game rather than fixing it. -_-

For example there is the merchant event in Bloodtide Coast that has been broken since release.

Okay guys, ranting it out to arena net to fix it won’t solve anything. We should wait until Tuesday at least like Allisa suggested.

my guildmate has a theory that the most recent patch caused this which seems to make sense. that patch made it so if u swim under rata sum u get sent to jail. i think the “restricted” zone in the water some how includes the idea incubation lab on accident therefore sending u to jail.

it is for sure not the portal. i have map completion and the way point sends me to jail anyway.

How many days has it been now? Anet are you going to fix this or just let everyone hope for the best? I literally have idea incubation way point and point of intrest, and one other map left before I am able to get my twilight. That is it. So please anet, do something about this soon.

It looks to have been over 5 days since this issue has occurred. Please fix this, need the waypoint and POI for map completion stuff.

If this could be fixed soon, or at least give us an actual update on it’s progress, that would be awesome.

There is only one problem that I have with this not being hot fixed or taken care of. It’s simple really. I was here a week ago to check the status of this…I thought I had clumsily made a mistake in trying to get the last WP and PoI…Now it’s still not fixed. The only issue I have is that, it seems to me, every time I log into GW2 I have to wait for one quick patch or another. Seems rather silly that after all the waiting we do for patches and hot fixes, that this isn’t at least a little bit of a priority. Hopefully they will fix it soon.

I am really starting to get irritated by this. HELLO!!!!!!! Arena Net fix this issue now please. Like in the last post, almost everyday I get home from work I have to wait on patch or hotfix, so why not now? I have been off for the last two days hoping I would be able to get my legendary but, NO!!!! Do something about this before your consumers start to loose faith in you as a company. I realize that this may not be a big deal to most but, to those who NEED this waypoint and point of interest, it is a very big deal. I only have about 4% world map left but, today I just haven’t felt very good about finishing because I know in the back of my head that it will be INCOMPLETE until there is a patch, which is provided by YOU! Do “something” please!

Still not fixed. Guild Wars 2 is the best MMORPG I’ve ever played, pretty much everything about it is amazing.

But a week to fix a super simple bug like this?

Go do another map, or an event or heck, even do some story quests. 1 less waypoint and location should not cause this much frantic worry.

Anet when are you going to fix this Idea Incubation Lab bug? We are all stuck at the cell when we enter the portal. Please fix this bug fast!!

Two points in the game have to linked again. I can’t see why this is such a big issue for ArenaNet. Testing a fix for a mere link which has worked before … really…

What about those people who only have this 1 waypoint and point of interest remaining for their world completion? What about those people who only need this 1 set of diving goggles for the dive master achievement? As I believe this thread is full of people who fit the scenarios I described, not people who have lots of other maps, events, story quests to do, like you are suggesting for us to do.

But this IS Living World Content! Some Bookah in charge of the Asura Portal decided he just wanted to watch the world burn by redirecting all foot-traffic from the labs to jail. Surely our next Living World Patch will be the Retaking of Rata Sum, in which all Asuran Portals lead to the wrong places and it’s up to YOU to find your way to Portal control!

In all seriousness though, I spend my days now staring longingly across the waters from Dawnside Quay at the labs, praying that one day I will visit their esteemed halls and incubate my ideas of playable Tengu and Get-Rich-Quick Schemes. At least one of those involves a team of Quaggan Pro-Hustlers….

We should start a thread with all of the people who are going to get 100% Completion BAM as soon as this is fixed. We could call it the 99% Club (to be fair though, I ALSO need to get both keeps in enemy borderlands, it is a running bet to see which one can happen first)
