Over the past few days I’ve purchased a number of karma recipes from renown heart vendors while completing lower level areas. I am a cook and tailor, and it seems most recipes are simply disappearing when double-clicked to “consume” and add to my crafting recipes list.
In the attached screenshot, I had just purchased and double-clicked both “Ash Legion’s Coat” recipes, neither of which are appearing in my personal recipe list (the recipe has a required skill of 50 in Tailoring). As you can also see, no filters blocking the recipe from being shown are there and multiple keywords as well as looking under the Coats subheading in my recipe list were tried. This has also happened with cooking recipes from other karma merchants over the past few days. Of all that I have purchased (at least 5 that I can remember) only one cooking recipe has actually appeared in my available recipe list. When mousing over the recipe on the vendor again, it does say that I already know the recipe, however.
While writing this, I also purchased the Ash Legion’s Boots and Ash Legion’s Leggings recipes to test those(also Tailoring skill 50 required – I have 382), neither of which taught an actual recipe when consumed.
On a related note, I do believe the one cooking recipe that worked had more to the visible tooltip. When mousing over, I believe it showed the recipe it would teach with materials required, and then next to that showed the item that recipe would create. None of the ones that have simply disappeared have done that, so maybe they’re really just blank recipes with nothing tied to them?
