hey arena net,

i report most of my bugs ingame, because i think they will go directly to the correct dev department. but it happens that i report a bug and after weeks (sometimes month), the bug is not fixed and i wonder why that is!?

for example i reported a bug that the pistols of my thief are in the body and not beside the body if they are not in the hand of the thief. this bug is presend since launch and its not fixed till today.

my question is:
will all ingame reported bugs be fixed for sure or should i report the bug again after some months? because it happened to my support tickets (on the support website), that they close my tickets after a patch, assuming the bug is fixed without checking it.

I’m not Arena Net, I’m just some random Joe speculating here. I’m guessing there’s a master list for bugs. The ones that are checked to be “Blocking Progress” go right to the top and get immediate attention. The others get organized by how many people report the same bug. A lot of the same report show that the problem is real and is bothering a lot of people, and so gets moved up the list. Reports that stand alone in their claim need to be verified and since they can’t always recreate the issue for themselves then they assume the report is a mistake, which many times is the truth.

I’m guessing they have not deleted your report, it’s just that the issue you describe has not been reported very much. I have noticed that my thief’s weapon’s aren’t always visible, but it depends on what I’m wearing. It didn’t bother me so much to make a report. My report is on the thief’s broken traits and is a few lines up from yours. Maybe you could verify that and back me up as well.
